Mission

NAGRA’s portfolio of tightly integrated solutions helps deliver secure and engaging TV experience, either to pay-tv operators or content owners.

 

As a Cloud Security Architect, you contribute securing our OTT and IPTV streaming platforms deployed as SaaS on public cloud or on operating private cloud.

You also work closely with experts, system architects, product managers and customers in the product development team.

 

As a Security Expert, you define the technical strategies for securing back-end systems and protecting assets deployed in cloud environments. Your technical expertise also endorses you as an internal reference point of expertise on the backend security, cloud security, as well as general data protection

Responsibilities

  • Secure cloud-based applications and infrastructure services on AWS
  • Identify security risks and capture security needs at business level to define appropriate security objective for the system
  • Act as a leader across the department by providing expertise and serving as an internal reference point on cloud security architecture
  • Define security practices and guidelines to be applied and ensure they are implemented through the whole development cycle
  • Select or design appropriate solutions, techniques, and technologies to meet the targeted security level
  • Work with experts, designers, and developers to review detailed designs and implementations
  • Support product implementation to ensure compliance with GDPR and ISO 27001
  • Support pre-sales activities regarding security and compliance
  • Coordinate audit and security evaluations of products
  • Follow evolutions in relevant security related technologies

Requirements / Profile

  1. a) Experience & Background
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience with cloud and IT Infrastructure security
  • Previous experience on public cloud deployment covering IAM and user management, Security monitoring, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS security framework and technologies
  • Good, experience based, understanding of Cybersecurity
  • Understanding of agile development process and DevOps with hands-on experience building security as code and security in the build pipeline
  • Knowledge of existing security methodologies, best practices and guidelines (CIS, CSA, OWASP…) and experience in defining or identifying applicable best practices, writing policy/standards and driving adoption of new architectural designs and practices
  • Knowledge of IT governance and operations
  • Basic understanding of applied cryptography and familiar with security protocols

 

  1. b) Soft Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues and risks to engineers, project managers and product managers
  • High sense of responsibility & commitment with a good capacity to take initiatives
  • Demonstrates excellent analytical skills and good ability to synthesize
  • Rigorous approach
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to mentors and coach technical staff
  • Engineering degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Professional security certification (CISSP, CISM, AWS certification…) a plus
  • Fluent English mandatory & French a plus.
