Senior Software Engineer – Tier 1.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Webdriver IO or similar.
  2. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  3. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
  4. Collaborate with software developers and QA analysts to understand application workflows and identify test scenarios.
  5. Analyze test results, debug issues, and communicate findings to the development team.
  6. Continuously enhance and improve automation frameworks and tools.
  7. Ensure automation tasks are integrated into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  8. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.


Requirements / Profile

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience of 3 to 6 years as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
  1. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
  2. Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, Appium, Webdriver IO, TestComplete, etc.
  3. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
  4. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
